The Career Development tool for individuals
documents the potential on-the-job effectiveness of an employee across any
or all positions you might be interested in evaluating.
It can identify skill gaps by position in order to identify key training
needs by individual and team. You can prioritize your training investment
dollar. Our Career Development tool will also evaluate the employee for
succession planning. Finally, it provides managers with the confidence to
make objective decisions, based on quantitative predictions instead of
hunches, guesses or subjective opinions regarding employee deployment and
development.
Once you identify the positions that you want to use for the evaluation,
the employee will take our online assessment. An assessment profile is then
produced that shows the critical success skills and position that the
employee is most likely to perform with a high degree of success. In the
example below of the nine positions evaluated, our tool predicts that the
Major Account Sales - New Business Development is the "Best Fit" for the
employee.
The assessment profile also helps you identify training needs. Even though
the Major Account Sales - New Business Development position is the "Best
Fit" for the employee, Lead Development has a low score indicating the need
for targeted training to improve this particular skill. The results also
show that the individual is willing to work hard to develop the account and
has strong closing skills. Key skills for a salesperson to be successful.
