Career Development for Teams
The Career Development tool for teams documents the potential on-the-job
effectiveness for each team members across any or all positions you might
be interested in evaluating. It can identify skill gaps by position in
order to identify key training needs by individual and team. You have the
opportunity to focus and prioritize your training investment dollar on the
skills that are needed most by the team.
Our Career Development tool will also evaluate members of the team for
succession planning. Finally, it provides managers with the confidence to
make objective decisions, based on quantitative predictions instead of
hunches, guesses or subjective opinions regarding deployment and
development of team members.
Once you identify the positions that you want to use for the evaluation,
each team member will take our online assessment. An assessment profile is
then produced that shows the critical success skills and position that the
each team member is most likely to perform with a high degree of success.
In the example below Cook has excellent account executive skills and would
also as an account manager, strategic account manager or group sales
manager, although she might be best suited to be a group sales manager.
Johnson performs best as an account executive and if he were moved to an
account manager, strategic account manager or group sales manager position,
he would most likely fail.
